Some handy information about staying with us
Your hosts
We are your hosts, John and Eilin, and we warmly welcome you to our home, Bundaleera Vineyard. We have recently come out of retirement to take on this new vineyard and accommodation venture! Although growing grapes and hosting is new for us, we are well and truly Relbia locals and look forward to sharing with you why we have called this wonderful slice of Tasmania home for almost 30 years!
Our location
Bundaleera Vineyard is located in the rural area of Relbia in Northern Tasmania. Relbia boasts spectacular countryside views of lush rolling hills and mountains beyond. Bundaleera provides the perfect location for exploring all Northern Tasmania has to offer.
Getting here
Bundaleera Vineyard and accommodation is a convenient 13 minute drive from Launceston Airport. The best way to get here from the airport is hiring a car or via taxi. We are also located an easy 12 minute drive from Launceston city centre. Unfortunately, there is no public transport access to our property.
Access and parking
Access to Bundaleera is via a private shared driveway. There is ample, easy parking on the premises (just look for the sign).
Check-in and check-out
You can check in any time after 2.00PM. Check-out is 11.00AM. We will give you instructions to locate your key or will be here to welcome you and show you around.
The property and vineyard
Both units are located within a secure yard for guests to enjoy. There are plenty of places to take a stroll and explore around our property.

Bundaleera is a working vineyard, which means people and machinery may come and go from time to time, especially during harvest. This is all part of the unique experience of staying in a vineyard.
Special offers for guests
If we are around, ask us about our wine tastings for guests. We can also arrange for a cheese platter to accompany your wine tasting should you wish. Please let us know in advance if you would like a wine tasting or cheese platter and we will arrange a suitable time with you.
Things to do and see
We will often be working around the vineyard so we can share with you our local tips for things to do and see in the area and answer any questions you may have.

Indulge in some wine tasting
We welcome you to try our delicious Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay and our newly released Sparkling. A short 10 minute walk or even shorter drive is the renowned Josef Chromy Wines and Restaurant. Also up the road is Jinglers Creek Vineyard ready for tastings. Or you may like to take a drive along other parts of the Tamar Valley Wine Route to visit some of the other fabulous vineyards in the area.

Sample local food
There are plenty of nice restaurants located within a short drive of our property, including the Mud Bar, Stillwater Restaurant, Hallams Waterfront and the Clarendon Arms Hotel.

Explore historic Launceston city
Say hello to the resident monkeys in City Park, take a ride on the famous chairlift at the Cataract Gorge or enjoy a refreshing beer at Boags Brewery.
Take a drive around the countryside
Take a drive through the rolling hills of Relbia and beyond to explore quaint little towns, such as Evandale where you can visit local boutiques, cafes and pubs, such as Clarendon Arms. Make a stop at Franklin House, a historic homestead only 4 kilometres away, to enjoy a delightful Devonshire tea.

We also have a comprehensive guest information book in our units with more tips for places to eat and things to do around Northern Tasmania.
