SAUNA TIPS
Where to find the sauna
Drive down the main Bundaleera Vineyard driveway at 65 Correa Drive and follow the signs to the sauna parking area. From there, it’s a short walk to the sauna and cold plunge area.
What to bring and wear
We recommend bringing a water bottle and two towels - one to use in the sauna and one to dry off with after. Please use swimwear while in the sauna and cold plunge.
How to prepare
We recommend arriving around 5 minutes before the start of your session so you have time to find the sauna. We also recommend drinking plenty of water prior to your sauna session to ensure you're well hydrated. There is a small changing area at the back of the sauna. Please be aware there are no toilets immediately near the sauna (we do have a toilet on site but it is a short walk away in a separate building).
During your sauna
We recommend having a quick rinse in the outdoor shower before you begin your sauna experience. Please only stay in the sauna for as long as is comfortable for you - it's important to listen to your body. As a guide, we like to stay in the sauna for around 10-15 minutes before taking the first cold plunge. You can repeat this around three times per sauna session for optimal benefits.
After your sauna
Please ensure you remove all your belongings from the sauna when you leave. We recommend drinking plenty of water after your sauna to rehydrate. Enjoy a great nights sleep!
Benefits of hot and cold therapy
Research is increasingly recognising hot and cold therapy for a range of benefits, including improved circulation and muscle recovery. One of the most noticeable impacts of sauna and cold plunge can be boosts to your mental health and general mood.
Bookings
The Bundaleera sauna is available for both private and community sessions. We allow a maximum of five people per sauna session (for both private and community sessions).
